The Cycas Revoluta is a very slow grower and takes about 50 to 100 years to reach this height! The Cycas actually belongs to the group of palm ferns and not palm trees. The most special thing about the Cycas is, in addition to the fact that this palm lasts a lifetime with good care, this palm already existed in the Carboniferous era. Palm fossils indicate that this is one of the oldest palm species in the world.
